I just broke my best glasses. First reaction: AHHH NO NO NO NO DAMN IT NO NO NO!!!! Second reaction: "This is what's supposed to happen, this is what's supposed to happen......" Okay, I need to play with this:
I broke my glass, I cannot see
I wonder how the world sees me?
Without my glass, my books lay stilled -
my brain is waiting to be filled.
And now I know just how it feels
without my glass to grease the wheels!
Okay, it could be worse, I could've .... I could've ..... okay, what? This is awful, I can't see a dern thing. Look how life plays with us, how things occur that just twist and turn us in the wind. I'm off to the optometrist, unplanned and unwanted, but... that's life. I'll take it.

I hope you can get to the eye doctor even if you cant see!!!!!!!!!! I hate it when my glasses come apart or break. AWFUL. Good luck!

I know how you feel..I wear contacts but at home wear glasses..........and crap if I woke up a few weeks ago and went to grab them on my bedside table and they were busted right on the nose bridge in half....I have had alot of expenses lately so have them wrapped in white medical tape...to hold them together....What a fashion plate I am when I look in the mirror I get a giggle...B. Lynne..lol

Oh, Lord.. if I lost my reading glasses I would be ... well.. LOST! lol Thankfully, I can see fine far away, I just can't read anything up close. I use those WalMart glasses that magnify things 100%! I probably should go get an eye exam, but I'll just add it to the others things I constantly put off doing!

I couldn't see to write a poem. I could' drive to the optometrist. I couldn't read the phone book to call them!! I'd be screwed. LOL I hope you got your glasses fixed.

I wear contacts too and the last time I went to the eye doc I asked him for glasses to wear around the house....he said we could do that on my next visit. I haven't been back yet....I do hate it that I have to put my contacts in before I can do anything...then I have to take them out to take a shower and then back in again to see. Hope you get your new glasses soon. I know what a bummer that is! Barbara
