There's something happening in a State close to mine that's so frustrating, so unfair, it makes me want to pull my hair out. And I like my hair!
This weird homeless guy has been wandering around people's towns, and according to the news, decided to "settle" in this one place. The people there are pretty set in their ways, but this guy's been annoying them with his babbling, digging in dumpsters, coming up to people and just being a nuisance. I really do feel for the guy, but come on, these people live there, it's their home and here comes this odd-looking, smelly homeless guy who wants to stay in their town. Alot of the citizens are really annoyed. It just doesn't seem fair, to anybody.
I hear some of them just ignore the guy, they really don't care. Others have even started talking to him, which is nice I guess, but he rambles on, I don't think anybody understands what he's talking about. It's an odd situation which is how it got in the news. So far, he hasn't hurt anyone, but you never know.
I'll continue to watch this story and keep you updated.

They should give him a roof above his head, his own wheely bin, and a little job. That would be really nice.

Sounds like a sad story to me....wonder what will happen. I have a soft spot for the homeless.
thanks for visiting my journal, btw!

I hope tragedy doesn't come from this. Coming so near to being homeless myself I have great empathy for the homeless.
Have a great weekend, my friend. Spring is close, thank goodness. Winter has it's own kind of beauty but I'm ready for some sunshine and color.
Hugs, and love too,

There must be a shelter he could stay in nearby? They should direct him to that so he doesn't get beat up...or killed.

sad story but no matter where he goes in any state I bet he gets the same reaction.
can you imagine walking in his shoes?
No where to go where hes welcome .
Funny how some people choose that life where others would do anything to get out of it.
This story touched me very much. I have worked during my lifetime with the mentally ill. Have seen much homeless people in Toronto and yes at times you wonder what brought these people to this point in their lives. We will never know, until we walk a mile in their shoes. Indeed I have nearly done that with a child in tow. By the grace of God a miracle happened and i was not forced to live on the streets. Years ago when in school my friends and their siblings as well as mine were quite close. I will always remember one of my friend's sisters. She was a beautiful looking girl. Had just gotten married, and had everything going for her, she came home from work one night and found her husband in bed with a man. This sent her over the edge and brought out latent schizophrenia in her. She became almost like a bag lady, her looks vanished, she became an alcoholic and many other things occurred. She got cancer and she died at 52. Even as ill as she was she always was pleasant and remembered me. Till this day when I see a homeless person, I think of the young girl who became a woman and still was the kind caring person she always was, the person she became as a result of her illness, was very sad but she never lost the core of herself. Yes, if we could walk a mile in their shoes, we may understand from whence they came. God bless this man, yes I can understand how he can be a nuisance. I hope someone helps this fellow, find his way. I will be praying for him.
