Just a quick reminder that tonight, 5/19, as previously reported, is the night when Venus will pair up with the crescent moon. It'll be a sliver of a moon sitting very close to the brightest light in the night sky, a few hours after sunset. Expectations are that the sight will last till after midnight. I do hope you get to see it.

Am watching now, Cathy - see my entry
We'll be seeing a whole lot more rain here in the great North East! Darn.
Cathy 2 Donna: With a gift like yours, what can't you see? I admire you.
Cathy 2 Guido: Thanks, saw it, commented, very glad to note that stunning picture!
Hey thanks for the reminder....I'm gonna run outside now!!
Thanks so much for letting me know this.... I can never keep up with this stuff.... but I love it and will definitely look for it tonight!!!
Thanks,
Joann
I won't get to see it. We're covered with clouds...as usual for the past week or so.
Hugs, Barb
Thanks for the reminder. Guido had mentioned this and I wanted to be sure to see it.
I just wish I still had my old boyfriend's telescope here....rats!

OMG! so that was the one I saw last night? because I was sitting outside, on my porch swinging and saw this moon and I thought next to it was a very bright star, I stared at it for a good while.
Thanks for making an entry about this, now I know what I watched last night and I'm glad I didn't missed it. oh it was amazing!
Gem :-)
Yeah, I love Coldplay, saw them last year. I saw the moon and star, (didn't know it was Venus), in the London evening sky on Sunday. Wonderful sight.
It was beautiful... we saw it down in Wildwood!
be well,
Dawn
