Venus and the Crescent Moon-TONIGHT

Just a quick reminder that tonight, 5/19, as previously reported, is the night when Venus will pair up with the crescent moon.  It'll be a sliver of a moon sitting very close to the brightest light in the night sky, a few hours after sunset.  Expectations are that the sight will last till after midnight.   I do hope you get to see it.

I won't get to see it. We're covered with clouds...as usual for the past week or so.

OMG! so that was the one I saw last night? because I was sitting outside, on my porch swinging and saw this moon and I thought next to it was a very bright star, I stared at it for a good while.
Thanks for making an entry about this, now I know what I watched last night and I'm glad I didn't missed it. oh it was amazing!

Yeah, I love Coldplay, saw them last year.  I saw the moon and star, (didn't know it was Venus), in the London evening sky on Sunday.  Wonderful sight.
