Posted almost 2 years ago, let's see what our invasion and occupation has cost in dollars so far - I wish I'd noted the amount when I first posted this.

Yes and that is just the financail costs  the cost of loss of lives is far far greater...on both sides...imagine what good could have been done if all that money could have been used to build hospitals etc even in Iraq to enable people to know what a better life they could have had...I am beginning to think the whole world is going mad  quite quite mad...Love  SYbil x

Well this is certainly depressing.  WE are paying through the nose for everything from soup to nuts, people are losing their jobs & homes....not surprising after seeing what we are spending on this war.  The cost of lives lost cannot even begin to be measured.  Sad, very very sad.

I wished I'd noted it back then too.  It's sad.  It's depressing and it appears to be never ending.
