June 6, 1944

O lonely dove of peace, whereby you find no resting place but these .... ?

Dare I walk this land so emboldened with youthful dead hearts, and not feel a great piercing cry lift from my soul ..... a cry for peace oh peace rest within my heart, I give you comfort, come now - all is done. All is done. Rest.

This is a wonderful tribute Luddie, funny that Harrad said to come by his blog and pick up your award, I was thinking as I looked at this entry that you so richly deserve an award for your blog you always amaze me at your knowledge and your well written words. God bless you my friend.

I'd forgotten that June 6 is the anniversary of the invasion of Normandy. Thanks for the reminder.

There are those who think a battlefield is a beautiful sight.

There will be war until there are enough with the courage to make peace.

Rest & Peace. I'd like to say I am hopeful...
I wish the tiniest little bit of resistance wasn't always met with such all out aggression. ~Mary
