Living here in 'old Europe' it is always interesting to read/see/hear what goes on, on the other side of the Atlantic.
Arriving about five years in Greece put me also into the state of a foreigner, many times felt, either through words or behaviour.
Maybe time something like a Passport of Earth should be invented.
Please have a nice start into the new week.

I feel the same way about mine... people who move here and can't even be bothered to learn English particularly annoy me... I'm thinking of fleeing this "Great" British island, but I wouldn't dream of settling anywhere else without learning the local lingo as fluently as I possibly could...

Manifest Destiny...OMFG...half of all Merkins believe in it and that's what scares the crap out of the rest of us Earthlings.

I have a love/hate thingamabob with Uncle Sam because he exposes the best and the worst of Human Nature.

The USA answers the question "How would Humans live if they completely believed their own bullsh*t?" It is a giant Disneyland of artifice and status and guns and the love of money and worshipping celebrity. Las Vegas should be the capitol city.

I know that someday your children's children will drive up here in Hummers and annex us for drinking water, Oil, and maple syrup. What are ya gonna do?

Happy Manifest Destiny Amerika :)

While I am not American, I love your country too. In my country Canada, i feel like a foreigner more other nationalities than actual Canadians. If you wish to come to another country than you should adapt to their laws and language. I am not saying forget yours but learn to live as Canadians or Americans or whatever country you go to. You can still observe your traditions within your own family.

Yes, Cathy. We should never forget that our national symbol is a cruel and predatory bird.
