"Long-Distance Love" ((#))

A heart as full as vessels hold,

    I hold you as I can -

though miles conspire to separate

    I write to you again.

The gift of words will last a life,

be they harsh or kind -

for once the eyes do take them in

    they're branded on the mind.

And sweet are those I get from you,

    a faith in me, I sense -

It's truly earned in all I feel,

to ease you when you're tense.

Though try I do, to find a way

    I stumble at each start

in dealing with my other side

    who keeps herself apart.

Oh, don't let's speak of that my dear,

I've all this love to spill -

and we shall triumph in our time,

    until these clocks do still.

Hi Luddie, I just read your "Long-Distance Love" ((#))
Words fail me, there is a lot of ways to interpret this and I certainly dont want to do put the wrong conotation on it.  I believe that what is not said is what one can read clearly.  Sometimes in life, we meet different individuals.  Forever they make imprints on our mind and soul, we may never meet.  Through the miracle of the internet God has seen that our souls and hearts have met, we dont need to reach out and hold one another physically in real life.  When there is a bond so strong between two people, one need only reach out with words and touch each other in ways physical contact could never reach the depths to which words can.  Your words today, I feel have reached out in a way that really grapsed my hand and held me tight.  We have met already in our minds and spirits, we have a connection which defies real time meeting.  For words and spirituality are our bond and because of that no matter the distance, no matter if we ever meet, we have loved each other in our minds and souls.  I sincerely hope I have not misinterpreted this poem you have written I have made my comments from the way your words touch me.  Thank you from my heart, from my soul, for a forever friendship.  (#)

As usual, a very interesting and lovely entry.  I wonder, as I sit here in front of my computer, who you are thinking of and who you are writing to.  Maybe this is an entry that is just for you, alone?  I see it touched Tree's heart - and I can understand why, as it has touched mine.  Have you ever traveled on angel wings - way high up in the skies almost touching the stars, and veiw the Universe?  Alone in the night - just the two of you - floating through time and space - enjoying the time alone, and yet, together?  Miles separate us, but if you would like to experience this journey, I will take you.  We will fly though our Universe together - and I will have you home in time for your daily routines.  ;)
Come fly with me . . . . .
