"Be My Mirror"

Show me how you see the world,

you're twice as clear by half -

Too quickly I unsheathe my sword

and n'er sure when to laugh.

Knowledge is the game I chase,

a Master and a Passion -

Once instilled I'll not erase

what I believe my ration.

Yet if in craving such as all

another I do injure,

this for me, a lowly fall

which nothing soft can nurture.

Show me then in truer light

the ways I see not clearly -

for yours is knowledge, beaming bright,

and I do love you dearly.

Be my mirror.

What a beautiful poem.  I believe you see the world very clearly, and it has not been to kind to you at times.  Truthfully, I do not know anyone who is so knowledgable as you, you know everything about so many topics.  I found that reading journal entries, I received a whole education about the galaxy and astronomy.  About a man who was homeless and a whole town was against him, only to figure out that this man was Jesus and you were teaching us something.  You have written poems that I cherish.  You see very clearly my friend more clearly than many.  So looking back at you from my side of the mirror, I see a wonderful woman, filled with so many beautiful facets, a teacher, a giver, a poet and most of all my forever friend.  God bless you Luddie.
