A Note To Scotland

To GW-O, and your friend, and your friend's daughter:

I am most extremely sorry for the offense you felt at watching that video.  I felt just as offended, and expect any other human being would feel that same outrage.

I've deleted it all and feel I've been very short-sighted in this, and my friend is helping me understand it all.  I truly had no political agenda in mind.

Have no idea what this is about.

Not to worry, it's a personal message to persons I couldn't reach any other way.

I have to just say one thing here in your defence my starlady, that video highlighted a very serious plight and without knowledge of such atrocities, how can there ever be any change? It may be horrific to the eye but what about the people enduring this on a daily basis?. I don't ever like to look at very brutal or violent Images In films, but this was no movie with no actors or actresses, this was real life and needed to be addressed. In this day and age, we shouldn't turn a blind eye. What If that was one of us? Would you want the world to see? I know, I would. Love Pam xx

My loving and compassionate Pam, I had to delete that post, it seems it was not just about the subjugation or oppression of women in the world.  A dear friend told me that when he and friends clicked the link, it directed them to a different site, one far more inflammatory, and I believe now, racist.  What entry in a Journal could possibly be more important than the sensitivities of others who felt so offended and outraged?  It matters not that such was never my intention, what matters is what I did after discovering that people were horrified and hurt after being mislead.  I did the right thing by deleting it.  Some truths needn't be blasted into the hearts and minds of people and especially when this kind of trickery is involved.  Clicking on a site you presume to be one thing, then getting another, it's wrong and the only thing I felt I could do to right it was delete it.

Thanks for your apology as I was the one that started the ball rolling in the first place as I regularly read your blog. I wasn't in a position to see your warning as if I did I would have been able to make up my mind in whether to watch the video or not.

The content that it went on to show was not against women which I would support but went far beyond the endorsement you made.

Please accept my apologises that it has caused you to have strained relations with all your friends in the UK. My father was only trying to protect me as I found it very distressing and turned to his friend for his assistance.
My best wishes in your pursuit of your journal. Elaine

Oh Dear.  I linked folks to here and I put a disclaimer up first.  That was brutal.  BUT.  I'm sorry you felt you had to take it down (or out) but I know how kind and caring you are.  So I will do the same.

Kathy please take my word, both as friend and lover of truth.  That link was not what it purportedl; for some, mostly UK, it misdirected and brought them to a horror with nothing to do with women's rights.  You did right.

I don't think you should have took it down. You had a disclaimer and if they didn't pay attention or ignored it, their fault. YOUR JOURNAL, POST WHAT YOU WANT. It's real, it happens and it needs to be known, It's not racist, it's truth. -Missy

Thank you Missy dear, but as I say, UK and Scotland people were getting a completely diffferent and horrid, torturous site with nothing but hate for hate's sake.  Evil.  I had to remove it, I couldn't risk anyone being hurt.  As I say, it may not have been my fault and certainly not my intention, but had I not taken it down I couldn't live with myself.
