Just sitting here reading your blogs (somehow not as nice a word as "journal") and thought I'd ask a rude question. Then I decided I'd best not. So I'm asking a polite one:
HOW DO YOU choose to POST? Anything like the way I do?
Do you open your browser and just type? OR
Do you open AOL and click into your blog from wherever you keep it?
I'm extremely curious how folks post their entries, wondering if I'm odd (don't answer lol) I see we can change this template anytime, but is that really important? Hm - maybe our templates are like the "mood" option AOL gave us. Guess I must be in a "parchment" mood lol.
You'll notice I disabled the word verification option as I want to keep things easy for anyone to comment. So I give this cautionary warning to anyone trying to spam me: go ahead.
Chen? I welcome your comments which you'll notice you're free to make here in America. This is not the platform you seek. Spamming blogs will not bring China solutions, as a revolutionary you should know better.

I go from my Internet Explorer now and type Blogger.Com and of course, I choose my post option. I hardly sign on to AOL for anything anymore. For AIM, I have the actual messenger and I use AOL for nothing else except McFee security.
GOODBYE AOL.
*M*
I go direct to internet explorer, sign into google and away we go! I still go to aol for my mail and the kids use the aol browser because they have great kid blocks.
be well...
Hi! YAY! I've just added your new home to my...what is it called?...dashboard?...oy VAY...I need a little more time to just sit and enjoy looking around... Gorgeous pic of you htere, Ma'am. ;) C.
I have to agree that journaling sounds so much nicer than blogging. But oh well. I left aol a while back when it ceased being user friendly, I started threatening to leave when the ads began.
Now I like using the blogger format even better than aol. It just took some getting used-to.
My homepage is google and I am always signed in. I just go to *my account* and pick a blog to work on. Easy breezy.
I only used my aol to sign in there to comment on journals and to get the emails. I'm thinking about moving all my email to my gmail account now. (which is way way way better than aol mail)
Hmmm...still on AOL browser for the time being so I click on my blog (don't like that term much either) in my favorites and just post away on the entry.
I go in through Internet Explorer too and go right to Blogger. I am not using AOL at all much - I am still mad at them ;)
Aha, so you got the chinese spam thingy too. I was way too tired to read it.
Thank you for removing that...I have such a hard time with some of the letters.
xxx
I open AOL and click into my blog from where I keep it?
I'm on auto-pilot, I just DO. Anne
I use the dashboard I've saved to my favorites.
(((((((((((((((HUGSTOYOU)))))))))))))))))I just hit new post from the left corner from your Blog.Have a nice night.
I saved the Dashboard to my favorites. Seems to work for me. I don't like the word blog either...seems impersonal like something that is bog downed. Journaling sounds so much more pleasant, like we are on a journey and writing our exploits. (Hugs)Indigo
I either go into my iGoogle page on Firefox and click on my blog's icon and open it that way, or I go into my AOL browser and click on my journal's icon. You're right, blog just doesn't sound as comfortable as journal.
I'm usually on AOL anyway, so I just go to my favorite places to bring up my blog and then sign in and do my thing...
(I like 'blog' better than 'journal', oddly enough. I'm thinking it might be because a 'journal' sounds more like writing by hand whereas a 'blog' is a computer thing. I don't know....my mind works in mysterious ways....LOL)
I go to my aol carosel and then go to my blog and post my entries but you can email I have done that too
hugs

hey woman! i finally made it over to blogger. i have only been here a couple of days. i was away, i guess it was, three weeks with john -- when he was in hershey med center. ya, it was the same old, same old. he almost upped and dies on me, then he goes on and makes a miraculous recovery. as usual, i guess. and i am ever so grateful, Jesus knows i am. but i am tired also.
anyway, getting back to your question, LOL -- I go to my Dashboard from AOL. What I do is have the Dashboard in my toolbar. Works for me. I bookmark all my very most important pages that way - through the carrousel part of the AOL toolbar. I am not leaving AOL browser yet. Sheesh, one change in the past month is already enough to give me a heart attack!
By the way, I love the word blog. There are times when I want to feel part of the larger blogosphere, and that is why i like the universal term blog. 'cause we ALL got one.
Come by my place when you get a chance. Take care, Krissy :) Oh -and smart move on the verification thingy. i don't have one either. they drive me insane... watch me start getting spam, LOL...
IE or Firefox for me. Even when posting on AOL journal I went through them. AOL is such an unecessary filter.
