No Moon Means No Life On Earth

Without our incredible satellite, LUNA, this planet would never have been able to kick-start life nor hold onto it.  Our single moon is able to bring water into tide pools - and when Earth was young it was in these shallow, wet areas that the first single-cellular life got its start.  If the water hadn't been able to ebb and flow, the most simple of organic life - bacteria - couldn't have survived.
We owe it all to Luna.

I can never resist a celebration of the moon, and my only regret is that there aren't more of them. Luna: peaceful, comforting, steadfast, beneficial, enduring, haunting, romantically intoxicating....

Thank you Jon, I watched and listened to your enchanting video "Remembrance" and must tell you how I too, honor this time of year. It's pure romance to feel those trickster breezes kissing our face as we pause with the planet to settle in for changes that delight the senses! I don't get here often but it's sweet when I see what others have shared. Oh and for some reason, my comment on your page didn't come out but know that I'm thinking of you, and grateful. ad astra! 💥☮
